Boutiques.com is a style website that personalizes your shopping experience.  It is a cool way to look a designer clothes that fit your style without leaving the comfort of your home or spending countless hours looking through stores or websites for the perfect items to finish an outfit.  When you make your account, you fill out a style quiz to discover your personal style and likes and dislikes.  Then the website picks out things it thinks will appeal to you.  I like this website a lot and enjoy looking at the clothing, shoes, and jewlery that were picked out for my style.  I don't and will probably never buy the clothes suggested for me.  I just simply don't have the money to buy a designer wardrobe, especially since fashion is so fleeting and the same things are not in style for very long.  I think this website is very fun though, and think it is an interesting thing to look through when you are looking for something to do.

Black Shatter Nail Polish

I know I'm super late to the punch and that the black shatter nail polish has been out for months, but I just go it and wanted to do a quick review on it.  You paint your nails any color you want, and then you put the black polish on it and it shatters.  It's so cool and adds a tough-girl vibe to your outfit.

Black shatter has been sold out since it came out, and I finally found a bottle at a local beauty store.  The silver shatter has come out, so black shatter will probably be a lot less popular.  I feel that the silver shatter won't go on as many colors as the black, so it won't be as versatile. The black shatter can go over anything and still look good.  I painted my nails in a hot pink by Wet N Wild Wild Shine.  It doesn't say the name, but the top of the lid says it's number 454D.  The pink looks awesome with the shatter over it.  The black toughens the look up, while the pink keeps it fun and flirty.  This is definetly a must buy.

I love nail polish.  It has to be the most fun makeup ever.  There are so many different colors, shades, and nail accessories.  In my opinion OPI is the best nail polish company.  It has quality products and seems like it is always coming out with a new collection.  I’m going to show you all my top 5 favorite nail polishes by OPI.

Maybelline's the Colossal Volum' Express

A little bit about me before we get started: I am a 15 year old American girl.  I am fascinated by makeup and fashion.  I want to make YouTube beauty blogs, tutorials, hauls, and those types of things, but I’m shy.  So I decided to start a blog first.  If this blog goes well and if people begin to follow me and like what I’m doing, then I’ll make a YouTube channel.  This is a just a fun thing I am doing in my free time, makeup and fashion does not control my life.  It is just something I enjoy playing around with in my spare time.

Okay, now we have the formal introduction out of the way.  I’m going to do a review of a mascara I recently received.  I got Maybelline’s the Colossal Volum’ Express mascara for Easter last weekend and I LOVE it.  The mascara went on super smoothly, coating every one of my lashes.  I thought the brush was a little large, but I guess everyone has a size preference.  The tube was super-cute I thought.  It was little with a bright yellow color and purple words.  Normally my mascara is boring and blah, so I liked the pop of color.  The thing I noticed the most about this mascara though, is the weight.  I naturally have long lashes, so I don’t need to wear a lot of mascara.  But this was so light, it seemed like I wasn’t wearing any at all!  I’ve been wearing waterproof for a while, so that might be why, but my lashes felt so much lighter and freer.  I would definitely suggest this to a friend.  A great bonus is the price.  This is only $5.99 a drug stores, which is great if you’re like me and don't like spending an insane amount of money.
